The OWA’s 34th Annual Woodlot Tour and Conference, Rooted in Ontario: Small Forests, Big Impact, takes place April 24–25, 2027, at the Quinte Exhibition Event Centre, 30 Exhibition Way, Belleville. For students, it’s a chance to hear from researchers and practitioners, walk real woodlots with the people who steward them, and meet the landowners, foresters, and employers they’ll work alongside. Your sponsorship helps make that possible.
Your student receives
- A full-conference ticket: Saturday sessions, trade show, and banquet, plus a Sunday woodlot tour
- A stipend toward travel and accommodation
- A complimentary OWA student membership
- Special recognition on their conference name badge
You receive
- Your name in the conference program
- Recognition at the Annual General Meeting
- Grouped acknowledgement as a Student Access Partner
- An introduction to your student, whom you can meet at the conference
- A thank-you note from your student
Chapters, businesses, and individuals are all welcome to sponsor, and you can sponsor as many students as you like. Wherever possible, the OWA pairs students with sponsors from their local area.
